
On November 25, 2025, the company confirmed that it has officially called off the lockout at the Satara plant, which had been in effect since April 12, 2025. Maintenance activities commenced on November 24, 2025, and production is expected to restart in phases from December 20, 2025. The decision follows multiple rounds of discussions between management, the recognised union, and worker representatives.
According to disclosures, the company recorded an estimated revenue loss of around ₹27 crore during the suspension and lockout period from March 20, 2025, to November 24, 2025. No damage to company property was reported during this period, and no insurance claims were filed. The prolonged halt in operations also affected the organisation’s overall profitability due to loss of revenue.
The company stated that multiple meetings were held with worker representatives to resolve issues and restore operational normalcy. Following the lockout withdrawal, maintenance work has begun to prepare the plant for phased production resumption from December 20, 2025.
