Vodafone Idea (Vi) share price hit a 13-month high of ₹10.68 on Thursday, gaining 3% during intraday trade. The stock has rallied 12% in the past 3 sessions after the company announced its Q2 FY26 results.

Over the last week, Vi’s stock has risen 15%, while the Sensex gained only 2.5%. In the past 6 months, the stock has soared 54%, and in the last 3 months alone, it has jumped 75% from its 52-week low of ₹6.12 on August 14, 2025.

Vodafone Idea Q2 FY26 performance: Narrower losses and higher ARPU

In Q2 FY26, Vodafone Idea reduced its consolidated net loss to ₹5,584 crore, compared to ₹7,176 crore a year ago. The improvement was driven by lower finance costs and reduced forex fluctuations.

The company’s average revenue per user (ARPU) grew 8.7% year-on-year to ₹180, supported by tariff hikes and customer upgrades. Vi ended the quarter with 196.7 million subscribers, including 127.8 million 4G/5G users.

Hopes rise after the Supreme Court’s AGR decision

Investor optimism also grew after the Supreme Court allowed the government to reassess Vi’s adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues up to FY17. Vi said it is in talks with the Department of Telecommunications for the next steps and hopes for a long-term relief package.

Customer-focused initiatives

Vi’s new offerings, such as non-stop unlimited data, 2 extra days on recharges above ₹199, and upgraded family postpaid plans, have helped improve customer retention and data usage, according to the management.

Vodafone Idea Share Price Performance

As of November 13, 2025, Vodafone Idea share price (NSE: IDEA) was trading at ₹10.64, up 2.60% for the day. The shares opened at ₹10.30 and touched an intraday high of ₹10.78, which also marks its 52-week high, while the 52-week low stood at ₹6.12. The company’s market capitalisation is around ₹1.15 lakh crore. Currently, Vodafone Idea does not have a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio or a dividend yield, reflecting its ongoing financial restructuring phase.

Conclusion

Vodafone Idea’s strong stock rally reflects investor confidence in its improving financials, rising ARPU, and potential AGR relief. While challenges remain, the company’s focus on customer growth and government support could pave the way for a steady turnaround.
