Sensex and Nifty End in Red, ITC, Nestle Among Top Nifty Losers

The benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, lost their early gains and ended in the red on Wednesday. The Sensex dropped by 167.71 points (0.21%) to close at 81,467.10 after trading between 82,319.21 and 81,342.89. Similarly, the Nifty50 fell by 31.20 points (0.12%) to finish at 24,981.95, with a trading range of 25,234.05 to 24,947.70 during the day.

• Nestle India Limited’s share price opened at ₹2,579.00 and closed at ₹2,518.80.
• Reliance Industries Ltd’s share price opened at ₹2,795.05 and closed at ₹2,748.00. Reliance Retail, India’s largest retailer, has made its entry into the rapidly growing quick commerce sector, heightening competition with established players like Zomato’s Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and BigBasket.
• Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd’s share price opened at ₹291.25 and closed at ₹288.50.
• Hindustan Unilever Ltd’s share price opened at ₹2,823.40 and closed at ₹2,777.80.
