On October 23, the Sensex fell 138 points, and Nifty dropped 36 points. Top losers included Mahindra & Mahindra, Sun Pharma, Eicher Motors, Shriram Finance, and Power Grid.

India’s key stock indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, closed lower after a volatile trading session on October 23, 2024. The BSE Sensex fell by 138.74 points, or 0.17%, to close at 80,081.98. Likewise, the NSE Nifty50 dropped by 36.60 points, or 0.15%, finishing at 24,435.50.
