Tesla has introduced a ₹3 lakh exchange incentive for customers purchasing the Model Y electric SUV in India, applicable to any petrol or diesel vehicle trade‑in and valid for orders delivered by March 31, 2026.
The bonus of ₹3,00,000 is offered on all Model Y bookings confirmed and delivered before the end of March 2026.
The incentive applies to any existing internal combustion engine vehicle used as a trade‑in. The offer is limited to the Indian market and is part of Tesla’s effort to increase EV adoption.
The Model Y is available only with a rear wheel drive layout in two trims. The standard trim is priced at ₹59,89,000 ex showroom, while the long range trim costs ₹67,89,000 ex showroom. Prices reflect import duties as the vehicle is shipped as a completely built unit from China.
The standard version delivers up to 500 km on a full charge; the long range version extends that to 622 km. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is 5.9 seconds for the standard model and 5.6 seconds for the long range model, with a top speed of 201 kmph for both.

According to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations, Tesla sold 225 units of the Model Y in calendar year 2025.
The company operates experience centres in Gurugram, Mumbai and Delhi, providing customers with test drives and service support.
Tesla has installed at least 12 superchargers and 10 destination chargers across the three major cities. The charging network enables rapid top‑up, adding roughly 238 km of range to the standard model and 267 km to the long range model in 15 minutes.
The Model Y interior features a 15.4 inch central touchscreen, an 8 inch rear passenger screen, ventilated front seats and a nine speaker audio system. Six exterior colours are offered, with the standard colour being Stealth Grey; additional colours may cost up to ₹1,85,000.
The ₹3 lakh exchange bonus, combined with the Model Y’s specifications, pricing and expanding charging network, outlines Tesla’s current offering in the Indian electric SUV segment.
