
On November 27, 2025, Tata Consultancy Services announced a 5-year agreement with SAP to overhaul its global IT environment, focusing on Cloud adoption, Generative AI, and enhanced operational efficiency across enterprise systems.
SAP is advancing its technology operations through accelerated Cloud migration and AI enabled processes. Under the new agreement, TCS will streamline SAP’s complex IT landscape, strengthen AI based capabilities, and support faster development cycles.
The partnership aims to reduce overall ownership costs while improving alignment between business goals and IT functions.
The collaboration includes establishing 4 Centres of Excellence dedicated to Generative AI, Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and Customer Experience. These units will drive innovation by embedding GenAI features, enabling low code and no code development, building unified data frameworks, and strengthening customer experience strategies.

The companies have worked together for over 20 years, during which TCS supported SAP in scaling Enterprise Cloud Services under the RISE with SAP framework. This earlier work helped SAP transition from license-based models to flexible pay per use Cloud services. The new deal reinforces this long running relationship and supports SAP’s next phase of digital transformation.
TCS will deliver end to end lifecycle services for SAP’s enterprise applications using an AI powered unified model. The engagement is expected to enhance responsiveness, accelerate innovation, and strengthen operational stability. Both companies aim to empower employees and customers through improved systems and data driven decision making.
