Tata Consultancy Services is strengthening its newly launched HyperVault data centre business by exploring major global partnerships that could shape its next phase of AI-driven enterprise solutions, as per the news reports.

TCS Expands Partnership Ecosystem

TCS is holding discussions with Microsoft, AWS, Google, and Nvidia to co-develop solutions designed for its HyperVault platform.

The aim is to combine HyperVault’s infrastructure with advanced cloud and AI capabilities, turning these partnerships into a key pillar of its go-to-market strategy.

As per the news reports, TCS is close to sealing agreements with Microsoft and Google, while conversations with Nvidia are progressing. The company has also begun early-stage talks with OpenAI to onboard it as an anchor customer and collaborate on building agentic AI tools for global enterprises.

Funding Support and Market Momentum

To accelerate HyperVault’s rollout, TCS has secured a $1 billion investment from private equity firm TPG, forming part of a joint commitment of up to ₹18,000 crore over the coming years.

TPG is expected to hold between 27.5% and 49% in the business. The move aligns with strong growth prospects in data centre infrastructure, with Gartner projecting a 20.5% expansion in India’s data centre systems segment in 2026, following 29.2% growth in 2025.
