Tata Motors Expands into the Dominican Republic with New Commercial Vehicles

Tata Motors has entered the Dominican Republic market through a partnership with Equimax, which will serve as its authorised distributor, as per the press release. The launch brings a range of commercial vehicles aimed at sectors such as logistics, infrastructure, and last-mile delivery.
Range of Vehicles Introduced
The line-up includes the Tata Super Ace for last-mile transport, the Tata Xenon pickup in single and double-cabin formats, the Ultra series trucks (T.6, T.7, T.9) for urban and intra-city logistics, and the LPT 613 tipper for construction and infrastructure use. The models have been selected from Tata Motors’ global portfolio based on regional requirements.
After-Sales and Service Support
Select vehicles will be offered with an extended warranty of up to 5 years or 200,000 km. Equimax will operate service centres across key locations in the country, providing access to genuine spare parts and scheduled maintenance facilities.

According to the report, the Dominican Republic is a developing market with potential for commercial vehicle growth. The company said that Equimax’s local network will help in delivering vehicle sales and service across the country. Equimax stated that its focus will be on providing long-term customer support and ensuring vehicle availability for various business needs.

Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles are sold in more than 40 countries. Its product portfolio includes mini-trucks below one tonne, heavy-duty trucks of up to 60 tonnes, and passenger transport vehicles with seating capacities from nine to seventy-one.
