Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has received an order worth ₹144.44 crore (₹144,44,51,878.04/-) from South Central Railway. The filing suggests that the project involves upgrading the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV AT feeding system, along with feeder and earthing works. It will be carried out in the Ramagundam-Kazipet section of the Secunderabad division, covering 92 route kilometres and 276 track kilometres.
RVNL was declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the contract after a reverse auction process. The project is to be completed within 18 months. According to the company’s filing, this work comes under its normal business operations.
Earlier in October 2025, RVNL received another order worth ₹40 crore from Western Railway. This order is for providing manpower for the maintenance and repair of signalling and telecom systems in the Ahmedabad Division for 2 years.
In September, the company also got a ₹145 crore order from Southern Railway for traction substation work that includes design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning.
As of October 20, 2025, 9:35 AM, Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) share price was trading at ₹330.35, a 0.39% decline from the previous closing price. The stock has recorded a 52-week high of ₹501.55 on February 1, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹295.25 on April 7, 2025.

The ₹144 crore order adds to RVNL’s list of contracts from different railway zones. The company continues to receive work related to electrification and maintenance projects within the Indian Railways network.
