PTC Industries and Kineco Aerospace to Collaborate on Advanced Aerospace Components

PTC Industries Limited and Kineco Aerospace & Defence have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and manufacture aerospace components and structural assemblies, as per an exchange filing. The MoU was signed in Lucknow on August 12, 2025, by Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries, and Shekhar Sardessai, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Kineco Group.

Collaboration Scope

The agreement covers the co-development of hybrid aerospace structures combining composites and metallics. It also includes the localisation of critical aerospace components, such as flight-critical parts, joint participation in global Request for Quotations (RFQs), and advanced research and technology transfer with organisations like the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Combined Capabilities

PTC specialises in high-integrity castings and works with materials such as titanium and superalloys. Kineco focuses on advanced lightweight composite structures used in aerospace and defence. Together, the companies will work on integrating these capabilities to meet requirements for civil and defence programmes.

Industry Context

The partnership is contributing to the production of aerospace components within India and reducing reliance on imports. It is also expected to support manufacturing needs in civil aviation, air defence, and space projects. The work will include developing components for both domestic and export markets.

About PTC Industries

PTC Industries has been manufacturing precision metal components for critical applications for over 6 decades. Its subsidiary, Aerolloy Technologies Limited, supplies titanium and superalloy castings to aerospace and defence customers. 

The company is building a new manufacturing facility on a 50-acre site in the Lucknow node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, which will include a titanium and superalloy mill producing aerospace-grade ingots, billets, bars, plates, and sheets.
