Power Grid Final Dividend Ex-Date Today, August 19, 2025
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’s Board has declared a final dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share (face value ₹10 each) for FY 2024-25.
Final Dividend Details
The proposed dividend represents 12.5% of the paid-up equity share capital and is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Once approved, it will be paid within 30 days from the AGM date.
Previous Interim Dividends
This final dividend follows two interim payouts during FY 2024-25:
- ₹4.50 per share (45%), paid on December 4, 2024
- ₹3.25 per share (32.5%), paid on February 28, 2025
Record Date & Payment Schedule
The company has set Tuesday, August 19, 2025, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders for the dividend and AGM participation. Subject to approval, the dividend will be credited or dispatched on Friday, September 12, 2025.

On August 18, 2025, Power Grid Corporation of India share price (NSE: POWERGRID) opened at ₹289.50 and closed at ₹290.70, up by 0.69%. The stock price touched its day’s high at ₹291.30.
