PM Internship Scheme 2025 Deadline Extended Again to April 22: How to Apply

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has once again extended the application deadline for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2025. The last date to apply is now April 22, 2025.
This follows earlier extensions, from the original closing date of March 12, it was moved to March 31, then April 15, and now further extended.
Scheme Overview
The PM Internship Scheme was launched on October 3, 2024, to offer internship opportunities in 500 companies across 25 sectors. It targets youth who are currently unemployed and not enrolled in full-time education, especially those from non-premier institutions.
As per the Union Budget 2025, the scheme has been allocated ₹800 crore.
Stipend and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive:
- A monthly stipend of ₹5,000
- ₹4,500 paid by the Government
- ₹500 from the participating company
- A one-time payment of ₹6,000
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Indian citizens
- Be 21 to 24 years old as of the last date of application
- Have no full-time job or full-time education enrollment
- Have a family income of ₹8 lakh or less annually
- Have no immediate family member in a permanent government job
Accepted educational qualifications:
- 10th / 12th pass
- Diploma from a Polytechnic Institute
- ITI certificate holders
- Graduates with degrees like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Pharma from UGC/AICTE-recognised institutes
- Distance or online learners are also eligible

- Register with your mobile number and verify via OTP
- Enter personal and educational details
- Upload Aadhaar and certificates
- Choose up to five internship options
- Submit and save the confirmation page
