Pidilite Industries (NSE: PIDILITIND) has approved the issuance of bonus equity shares in the ratio of 1:1. This means shareholders will receive one additional share for every fully paid-up share held. The face value of each bonus equity share will remain at Re. 1/-.

Record Date for Eligibility

The company has set Tuesday, September 23, 2025, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders. Investors holding shares as of this date will be entitled to receive the bonus shares, subject to statutory and regulatory approvals.

The bonus issue is expected to enhance liquidity and widen investor participation by increasing the number of outstanding shares while keeping the overall investment value unchanged. For example, if an investor holds 100 shares before the bonus issue, they will receive an additional 100 shares post-issue, making it a total of 200 shares.

Other Corporate Actions

In addition to the bonus issue, Pidilite has recently rewarded shareholders through dividends. These include a special dividend of ₹10 per share (record date 13th August 2025) and a final dividend of ₹20 per share (record date 23rd July 2025). In 2024, the company had declared a final dividend of ₹16 per share.
