Oriental Rail Infrastructure Ltd has announced that it has secured a significant order worth ₹3,37,64,520 from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Indian Railways. This contract underscores the company’s growing role in supplying critical railway infrastructure.
The contract involves the supply and installation of 38 sets of one coach set of seats and berths (HL3) for LWSCWAC/EOG coaches. This order highlights Oriental Rail’s expertise in delivering high-quality, passenger-centric railway seating systems.
The terms of the contract specify that 90% of the supply portion will be payable upon submission of the inspection certificate and Provisional Physical Receipt Certificate. The remaining 10% of supply cost, along with 100% of installation charges, will be paid after successful receipt and acceptance of stores by the consignee, based on the installation certificate issued by the competent authority.
The execution period for the project runs until December 31, 2026. This extended timeframe allows the company to ensure phased supply, testing, and installation, maintaining the high-quality standards expected by Indian Railways.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, reinforcing Oriental Rail Infrastructure’s presence in the Indian market and alignment with the government’s focus on modernising railway infrastructure.
On September 1, 2025, Oriental Rail Infrastructure share price opened at ₹169.90, touching the day’s high at ₹176.00, as of 9:37 AM on the BSE.
