On Sep 4, 2025, ONGC shares are trading ex-date, meaning that the shareholders registered in the company’s books will be eligible for the cumulative ₹1.25 final dividend.
ONGC Ltd said in an exchange filing, “The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend at the rate of ₹1.25/- per equity share of face value of ₹5/- each, i.e. @25% for the Financial Year 2024-25, subject to the approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting.”
In terms of Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that Thursday, 4th September 2025, has been fixed as 'Record Date' for determining eligibility of members for payment of Final dividend, subject to declaration by the members in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company, if any.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹11,554 crore in Q1FY26, an impressive 18.2% increase over the same period last year. The company’s standalone crude oil production rose by 1.2% to 4.683 million metric tonnes (MMT), while natural gas production stood at 4.846 billion cubic meters (BCM), marginally lower than 4.863 BCM recorded in Q1 FY’25.
Notably, revenue from gas produced from new wells surpassed ₹1,700 crore, reaching ₹1,703 crore in Q1 FY’26. This segment benefits from a 20% premium over the domestic Administered Pricing Mechanism (APM) gas price, contributing an additional ₹333 crore in revenue. ONGC continues to focus on enhancing production from these high-value wells.
