Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has declared its first interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26 at ₹6 per equity share of face value ₹5 each, translating to 120% of the nominal value. The Board of Directors approved the dividend, reaffirming ONGC’s commitment to rewarding shareholders with consistent payouts.

Record Date and Payment Schedule

The record date for determining eligible shareholders is tomorrow, November 14, 2025. Investors holding shares as of this date will be entitled to receive the interim dividend. 

ONGC confirmed that the dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of declaration, in accordance with SEBI’s regulatory guidelines.

Consistent Dividend History

ONGC has a track record of dividend distribution, reflecting its robust cash flow and profitability. 

In the current and previous financial years, the company declared multiple payouts: a final dividend of ₹1.25 per share with a record date of September 4, 2025; an interim dividend of ₹5 per share with a record date of February 7, 2025; an interim dividend of ₹6 per share with a record date of November 20, 2024; and a final dividend of ₹2.50 per share with a record date of August 23, 2024.
