Ola Electric Share Price Rallies for Third Day Despite Market Crash
.webp)
On Thursday, August 28, Ola Electric Mobility extended its rally for the third day, gaining 4% to hit ₹52.80. This comes even as the overall market remained weak. The stock has gained 12% in the last three sessions.
PLI Certification Boost
The rally follows Ola Electric securing PLI certification for its Gen 3 scooter portfolio, which includes seven S1 Gen 3 models. This makes both Gen 2 and Gen 3 scooters PLI-certified, making the company eligible for 13–18% incentives on sales until 2028.
This move is expected to improve margins and push Ola towards EBITDA profitability from Q2 FY26.
New Products Announced
At its annual ‘Sankalp’ event, Ola unveiled new models:
- S1 Pro Sport (5.2 kWh & 4 kWh)
- S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh)
- Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh) with 4680 Bharat Cell
Deliveries will begin from Navratri 2025 and January 2026 for certain models.
Founder Bhavish Aggarwal also shared plans to capture a 25–30% share of India’s EV two-wheeler market with vertical integration and new launches.
Financials: Losses Narrow, Revenue Falls
In Q1 FY26, Ola Electric reported:
- Net loss: ₹428 crore (improved from ₹870 crore in Q4 FY25)
- Revenue: ₹828 crore (down 49.6% YoY from ₹1,644 crore)
Despite narrowing losses, revenue decline reflects weaker sales.
Ola Electric Share Price Trend in 2025
- Ola Electric share price is up 27% in August after 2 months of decline (–4.3% in July, –15.3% in June)
- Down 38% YTD in 2025
- Lost 59% value in the last 1 year
- 52-week high: ₹181 (Aug 2024)
- 52-week low: ₹39.58 (July 2025)
