
Ola Electric has officially begun mass deliveries of vehicles powered by its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell, a milestone that strengthens the company’s push toward deeper EV manufacturing in India.
The nationwide rollout begins with the S1 Pro+ equipped with a 5.2 kWh battery and represents the transition of Ola’s cell innovation from the lab to customer-ready scooters.
The company has commenced deliveries of the S1 Pro+ model built on the 4680 Bharat Cell platform, taking the first major step towards manufacturing electric vehicles with in-house battery cell technology.
As per exchange filings, Ola Electric highlighted that this marks the first time an Indian EV maker has achieved control over the end-to-end process of cell manufacturing and battery pack integration.
Deliveries are now in full swing, and customers are proudly riding India’s first scooters powered by our own 4680 Bharat Cell. This is a big moment, not just for Ola, but for India’s journey towards becoming a global EV hub.

The S1 Pro+ features a 13 kW motor with rapid acceleration from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.1 seconds and a 5.2 kWh battery delivering 320 km IDC range under DIY mode.
It supports Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco riding modes and is equipped with dual ABS and disc brakes for improved safety. The refreshed design includes two-tone seating, body-coloured mirrors, a die-cast aluminium grab handle, and a broader colour selection such as Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue and Midnight Blue.
Alongside this launch, Ola Electric has refreshed its entire portfolio across scooters and motorcycles, with updated pricing for the S1 Gen 3, S1 X Series, S1 Pro Sport and the Roadster motorcycle range.
These products expand Ola’s positioning across entry, mid and premium EV segments, supported by various battery configurations ranging from 2 kWh to 5.2 kWh
