Ola Electric Share Price in Focus: Begins Deliveries Of S1 Pro+ With 4680 Bharat Cell

Ola Electric has begun deliveries of its S1 Pro+ electric scooter fitted with the 4680 Bharat Cell. The 5.2 kWh scooter is the company’s first model to use a locally developed and manufactured battery cell.
Battery and Manufacturing
The 4680 Bharat Cell has been designed and produced entirely by Ola Electric. With this, the company becomes the first in India to have full ownership of both battery cell and pack production. The cells are made at its facilities in Tamil Nadu, while research and testing are handled by the firm’s Bengaluru-based Battery Innovation Centre.
Specifications
The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) uses a 13 kW motor and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.1 seconds. It has a claimed IDC range of up to 320 km in DIY mode. The scooter includes four riding modes: Hyper, Sport, Normal, and Eco, along with safety features such as dual ABS and front and rear disc brakes.
Design and Features
The model includes a two-tone seat, aluminium grab handle, body-coloured mirrors, and new rim decals. The S1 Pro+ will be available in colours such as Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue.
Certification and Standards
Ola Electric has received ARAI certification for the 4680 Bharat Cell under the AIS-156 Amendment 4 safety standards issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The certification applies to the 5.2 kWh configuration of the battery pack.
Product Line and Pricing
The S1 Pro+ is part of Ola’s Gen 3 scooter range. The S1 lineup includes variants priced between ₹84,999 and ₹1.90 lakh. The company also sells Roadster X and Roadster X+ motorcycles, with prices starting from ₹99,999.
