As of 12:00 pm, the Nifty Smallcap 100 stood at 18,334.85, up 82.35 points from the previous close of 18,252.50. The index opened at 18,309.00 and touched an intraday high of 18,382.55 before stabilising. Total traded volume stood at 152.17 million shares with a turnover of ₹5,801.66 crore.
The index has advanced 1.74% over the past 30 days and remains comfortably above its 52-week low of 14,084.30. It continues to trade below its 52-week high of 19,716.20. Market activity stayed broad-based, with healthcare, construction, and engineering stocks contributing most to the gains.

Swan Energy fell the most, slipping 2.71% as investors booked profits following recent gains. Five-Star Business Finance and Inox Wind also traded lower, witnessing mild selling pressure.
The healthcare sector saw strong traction, led by Narayana Hrudayalaya and Wockhardt. Engineering and infrastructure stocks like IRCON and Anant Raj also supported sentiment. However, selective weakness was visible in energy, financial services, and utilities as traders locked in short-term profits.
