The Nifty Bank opened at 57,812.30 and touched an intraday high of 58,015.85. It fell to an intraday low of 57,527.75 before trading at 57,588.85.

Private-sector banks led the gainers on the index. Axis Bank was the top performer, rising 0.43% to ₹1,243.30. ICICI Bank gained 0.40% to ₹1,426.70, while HDFC Bank rose 0.33% to ₹733.40.
State Bank of India (SBI) was the biggest loser among the Nifty Bank constituents, falling 1.90% to ₹1,076.30. Canara Bank declined 1.84% to ₹129.52. Punjab National Bank fell 1.05% to ₹113.61, while Bank of Baroda declined 1.05% to ₹248.08. Union Bank of India slipped 0.82% to ₹182.10.
Nifty Bank Constituents by Weight
HDFC Bank has the highest weight in the Nifty Bank index at 18.20%, followed by ICICI Bank at 14.86% and State Bank of India at 10.09%.
Kotak Mahindra Bank has a weight of 9.32%, while Axis Bank accounts for 8.81%. Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, AU Small Finance Bank and IDFC First Bank have weights of 7.29%, 5.50%, 4.71% and 4.67%, respectively.
