
Molbio Diagnostics Limited has fixed the price band for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) at ₹768 to ₹807 per equity share of face value Re 1. The ₹200-crore fresh issue along with an offer for sale (OFS) of 91.66 lakh equity shares is scheduled to open for subscription on August 10, 2026.
The anchor investor portion is scheduled to be allotted on August 7, 2026. The company's shares are proposed to be listed on both the NSE and BSE, with the tentative listing date set for August 17, 2026.
The IPO consists of:
Fresh issue: ₹200 crore
Offer for Sale (OFS): 91.66 lakh equity shares
The OFS includes stake sales by promoter entities Exxora Trading and Dr Chandrasekhar Bhaskaran Nair, along with India Business Excellence Fund and seven other existing shareholders. The OFS has been reduced from the 1.25 crore shares proposed in the draft papers filed in August 2025.
The company received SEBI approval for the IPO in December 2025.
The IPO price band has been fixed at ₹768 to ₹807 per share, and investors can bid for a minimum of 18 equity shares and in multiples of 18 shares thereafter.
The key dates for the IPO are:
IPO subscription period: August 10–12, 2026
Basis of allotment: August 13, 2026 (tentative)
Refunds and Demat credit: August 14, 2026 (tentative)
Tentative listing: August 17, 2026
The IPO reserves up to 50% of the issue for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), at least 15% for Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs), and at least 35% for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs).
Molbio Diagnostics plans to utilise the proceeds from the fresh issue to expand its manufacturing and research capabilities.
₹105.5 crore will be used to establish an R&D facility, Centre of Excellence and office infrastructure through its wholly owned subsidiary Bigtec.
₹72.2 crore will be used to purchase plant, machinery and equipment for its manufacturing units in Goa and Visakhapatnam.
The remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Before the IPO, the promoters hold a 46.65% stake in the company, while investors, including V Sciences Investments, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, and India Business Excellence Fund, collectively own the remaining 53.35%.
