Formerly involved in Tata Digital's operations, Maya, aged 37, left her role to focus on accelerating Westside’s online footprint.
Her father, Noel Tata, currently the chairman of Trent, was a guiding figure in her transition to this role, with his retirement from Trent scheduled for November 2026.
As Maya assumes this influential position, her brother, Neville Tata, continues to lead Trent's Star Bazaar hypermarket division.

Westside, accounting for 40% of Trent’s revenues, is aggressively expanding its international reach, with recent ventures into the UAE marking a pivotal step.
