Mahanagar Gas Ltd has set Aug 14, 2025, as the record date for its final dividend. On May 06, 2025, Mahanagar Gas board declared a final dividend of ₹18 per share. 

Mahanagar Gas Ltd said in an exchange filing, “The Company at its meeting held on May 06, 2025, had recommended a final dividend of Rs. 18/- per equity share of the face value of Rs. 10/- each for financial year 2024-25 (i.e. 180%), subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’), which is scheduled to be held on Friday, August 22, 2025.

In view of the above and pursuant to Regulation 42 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Company has fixed Thursday, August 14, 2025, as the ‘Record Date’ for determining entitlement of shareholders for payment of final Dividend for the financial year 2024-25..” 

What Does Mahanagar Gas Dividend Record Date Mean for Shareholders?

As Mahanagar Gas has set Aug 14 as the record date for its final dividend, meaning that Aug 13 marks the last day to buy Mahanagar Gas shares to become eligible for the final dividend. Further, any shares bought on or after Aug 14 (record date) won't be eligible for the final dividend due to the T+1 settlement rule.

Mahanagar Gas Q1FY26 Performance 

Mahanagar Gas posted robust financial results for the quarter ended June 2025, with consolidated net profit rising 10% year-on-year to ₹317.89 crore, up from ₹288.78 crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, the growth was even more impressive, with net profit surging 30.04% from ₹243.95 crore reported in the March 2025 quarter.

The company also recorded a solid uptick in its top line. Consolidated revenue from operations came in at ₹2,282.07 crore, reflecting a 24.6% increase over ₹1,832.15 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
