Magellanic Cloud Share Price Surges as its Subsidiary Bags ₹85 Crore Project from RVNL

Magellanic Cloud Limited has announced a major contract win for its wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, marking another significant stride in the company’s expansion into large-scale infrastructure surveillance.
RVNL Awards Surveillance Project Worth ₹85 Crore
Provigil Surveillance has received a Letter of Acceptance from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited to implement Video Surveillance Systems across 441 D and E category railway stations, along with system augmentation at 43 major Southern Railway stations. The contract, valued at around ₹85 crore, was disclosed in a regulatory filing.
The project scope covers supply, installation, testing and commissioning of IP-based CCTV cameras at stations and RPF/GRP posts, deployment of networking infrastructure, and integration of AI-based video analytics, video management servers, and face recognition software with scalable storage. Execution will be carried out in line with RDSO specifications and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
Back-To-Back Orders And Expansion Into New Sectors
This order adds to Provigil’s recent project wins, including a ₹32 crore LoA from the National Highways Authority of India and a ₹2.25 crore order from South Central Railway, both for AI-powered surveillance deployments. Together, these contracts represent back-to-back wins, reinforcing the company’s growing pipeline in the surveillance sector.
As per exchange filings, Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma, Global CEO & MD of Magellanic Cloud Limited, stated, “These back-to-back project wins of about 119.25 crores underscore our strong capabilities in delivering large-scale, AI-powered surveillance solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and cybersecurity. With the Railways and NHAI projects as milestones, we are confident of expanding our footprint into airports, metros, and smart city projects, positioning Magellanic Cloud as a trusted partner in building smarter and safer infrastructure for India and beyond.”

As of August 20, 2025, at 9:39 AM, Magellanic Cloud share price is trading at ₹87.69 per share, reflecting a surge of 1.53% from the previous closing price. Over the past month, the stock has surged by 4.28%.
