Bonus Linked to Participating Policies

The bonus applies to participating, or with-profit, insurance plans, where policyholders are entitled to a share of the surplus generated by the participating fund, along with the benefits guaranteed under the policy.

The amount is not paid immediately and is generally payable on maturity, surrender, death claim settlement or as specified in the policy terms.

Claims Settlement Figures for FY26

Kotak Life also released its claims settlement data for the year ended March 2026. It reported an individual claim settlement ratio of 99.5% and a group claim settlement ratio of 99.8%.

As of 31 March 2026, Kotak Life had 372 branches across 163 cities. The insurer said it has provided insurance coverage to more than 5 crore lives.

It also reported a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 60% and ranked second in the Hansa Research Life Insurance Customer Experience Study (CuES) 2026.
