The performance highlights the brand’s growing influence in the fast-expanding EV market and signals wider consumer acceptance of electric mobility.

Sales Performance and Market Reach

The company reported sales of over 46,735 units of the MG Windsor during calendar year 2025, making it the first electric car model in India to cross this volume threshold.

The vehicle maintained strong month-on-month momentum, averaging nearly 4,000 units per month, while fourth-quarter sales rose by more than 20% year-on-year.

Overall, JSW MG Motor India closed 2025 with 19% growth in total vehicle sales, alongside a sharp 111% year-on-year increase in EV sales.

Demand has increasingly come from Tier II cities and emerging markets, reflecting broader adoption beyond metro regions.

Marketed as India’s first “intelligent CUV”, the MG Windsor blends sedan-like comfort with SUV practicality and is offered under a Battery-as-a-Service model, starting at ₹9.99 lakh plus ₹3.9 per km.

It comes with two battery options delivering ranges of up to 449 km and features a technology-led, premium interior.
