Indian Hotels Share Price Falls 5% to ₹707 After Q2 FY26 Earnings Results, Hits 5-Month Low

Indian Hotels Company share price (NSE: IHCL) fell 5% to ₹707.20, hitting its lowest level in over 5 months, after the hospitality major announced its Q2 FY26 results. 

At around 11:40 AM, the stock was trading 4.4% lower at ₹710.95, while the broader BSE index was down only 0.09%. IHCL last hit a similar low on May 9, 2025, and its 52-week low is ₹651.35 recorded in November 2024.

Indian Hotels Q2FY26 Earnings Results: Revenue Up, Hotel Business Soft

IHCL’s consolidated revenue for Q2FY26 rose 12% YoY to ₹2,041 crore.

  • Hotel business revenue grew only 6%, affected by fewer social/wedding events and unusually heavy rainfall.
  • Catering business revenue increased 14%.
  • Room revenue dropped 3%, while F&B revenue grew 2%.
  • RevPAR remained almost flat at ₹11,000.

On the profitability front:

  • EBITDA margins improved by 49 bps to 27.9%.
  • EBITDA rose 14% YoY to ₹570.1 crore.
  • Profit before tax increased 17%, but profit after tax fell 3% to ₹316 crore due to higher taxes.

Indian Hotels shares fell sharply after Q2 results due to slow growth in its core hotel business and challenging weather conditions.
