Highway Infrastructure Limited has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the operation and maintenance of an eight-lane access-controlled expressway in Rajasthan.
The project stretches from Laban Village in Bundi district (Km 337.171, Package-12) to Gopalpura Village in Kota district (Km 417.810, Package-14) of the Delhi–Vadodara Expressway (DVE).
The LOA was issued by NHAI on October 13, 2025, marking a significant addition to Highway Infrastructure Limited’s portfolio of toll operation and road management contracts.
The scope of work includes the operation of user fee collection at the expressway’s toll plaza, upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks, and recouping consumable items to ensure smooth facilities for commuters. The contract, valued at ₹25.26 crore, is to be executed within 90 days from the award date.
The order has been granted by a domestic entity, the National Highways Authority of India, underlining the company’s growing role in supporting national highway infrastructure and management.
The project aligns with NHAI’s broader objective of enhancing road infrastructure efficiency and improving user experience on high-traffic corridors. By outsourcing fee collection and expressway upkeep to experienced operators like Highway Infrastructure Limited, the government aims to ensure better maintenance and transparency in toll management.
