Hexaware Technologies has launched the Agentic AI Academy in partnership with upGrad Enterprise, representing Phase 2 of the company's AI workforce transformation strategy. This initiative builds upon 2 years of generative AI investment, where 95% of employees received GenAI training, advancing towards autonomous intelligent software agent systems.
Learning Path | Target Audience | Focus Area
|
Builder.AI | Developers and engineers | Building agent architectures, orchestration, tool integration, and safety protocols |
Collaborator.AI | Technical teams | Adapting and customising open-source or platform-based agent solutions |
Manage.AI | Delivery and operations leaders | Managing agent-human interaction, quality assurance, and real-time monitoring |
The academy focuses on developing expertise in Agentic systems, which are autonomous, intelligent software agents that plan, act, and adapt in real-time. This represents significant evolution from traditional AI applications towards sophisticated autonomous agent systems that collaborate, decide, and deliver outcomes independently. Hexaware previously partnered with upGrad in August 2024 to train 100+ employees as GenAI architects.

Hexaware aims to onboard the majority of delivery and engineering teams through the Academy over the coming months as it expands Agentic service offerings across industries. The program combines structured, role-based learning with practical applications, delivered through upGrad's Enterprise platform featuring integrated content, labs, and certifications for comprehensive skill development.
