HDFC Bank has issued an important update for its customers, announcing a temporary disruption in UPI services due to scheduled system maintenance. The downtime will take place on September 12, 2025, between 12:00 AM and 1:30 AM, lasting for 90 minutes.

According to HDFC Bank, the system upgrade is part of ongoing efforts to enhance digital banking services and customer experience. Such maintenance activities, though temporary, are necessary to improve the efficiency and security of UPI and other online banking channels.
Customers are reminded that HDFC NetBanking services will remain fully operational during the downtime. Through NetBanking, users can perform over 200 types of transactions anytime and from anywhere, eliminating the need to visit a physical branch. Notably, a NetBanking account is automatically created for every HDFC Bank customer.
