Skoda Auto India announced on September 10, 2025, that it will reduce prices across its entire range of vehicles, following the recent revision in Goods and Services Tax (GST) on certain categories, as per news reports. The new prices will take effect from September 22, 2025.
The company’s premium SUV, the Kodiaq, will see the steepest drop, with prices reduced by up to ₹3,28,267. The Kylaq compact SUV will become cheaper by as much as ₹1,19,295. In the mass-market segment, the Kushaq SUV will cost up to ₹65,828 less, while the Slavia sedan will be reduced by a maximum of ₹63,207.
Skoda has introduced a limited-period offer ahead of the effective date. Until September 21, 2025, customers purchasing the Kushaq, Slavia, or Kodiaq can avail discounts equivalent to the revised GST benefit.
The announcement comes just ahead of the festive season, a period that typically sees an increase in vehicle sales in India. Skoda’s adjustments bring down the sticker price of its cars at a time when affordability is a key consideration for buyers.
Automakers in India are facing higher input costs while trying to keep vehicles within a competitive price range. The GST-linked revisions provide a temporary relief on this front, allowing companies like Skoda to reprice their models in line with the new tax structure.
