Goodluck India Limited has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (BATL) and Axiscades Technologies Ltd. As per the filing, the agreement was finalised on 30 September 2025. The 3 companies will work together on the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project.
The alliance has been formed to respond to the Expression of Interest (EoI) issued by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bengaluru. The EoI relates to manufacturing and supply for the AMCA programme. The collaboration is structured to meet the requirements set out by ADA.
The AMCA is a fifth-generation fighter aircraft project designed in India by ADA. The aircraft will include stealth features, advanced avionics, super-cruise capability, internal weapons storage, and electronic warfare systems. The programme is one of the major aerospace projects currently under development in the country.
Incorporated in 1986, Goodluck India Limited manufactures ERW pipes, hollow sections, CR coils, CDW tubes, forgings, flanges, telecom and transmission towers, railway and road bridges, and road safety products. The company’s facilities are located in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
Goodluck India operates six plants with a combined capacity of 5,00,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). Out of this, 2,85,000 MTPA is in value-added product lines. The company has a workforce of about 4,000 employees. It supplies to more than 600 customers and exports to over 100 countries.
The company’s products are used in sectors including automotive, solar, railways, defence, aerospace, and infrastructure. It has also been involved in projects such as transmission line towers and railway bridges.
As of October 1, 2025, Goodluck India share price closed at ₹1,308.00, up ₹37.20 or 2.93%.

The MoU with BATL and Axiscades places Goodluck India in a consortium that will participate in the bid process for the AMCA programme. The arrangement is directed towards contributing to local production requirements for the aircraft.
