Godrej Agrovet Inks MoU to Invest ₹70 Crore in Andhra Pradesh

Godrej Agrovet Limited has formalised a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Andhra Pradesh outlining a proposed investment of ₹70 crore, as per the exchange filings. 

The commitment focuses on expanding dairy processing capacity and strengthening support services for oil palm growers across the state.

Investment to Boost Dairy Capacity and Farmer Services

The company plans to scale up dairy operations through its subsidiary, Creamline Dairy Products, which markets products under the Godrej Jersey brand. The expansion will take place in 3 phases to meet the rising demand for value-added dairy offerings. 

Alongside this, Godrej Agrovet will establish 5 Samadhan Centres to provide tools, advisory support and agronomic services to oil palm farmers.

Strengthening Agri-Food Infrastructure in the State

The company described the MoU as an extension of its long-term engagement in Andhra Pradesh. Managing Director and CEO Sunil Kataria said, “We are grateful to the Government of Andhra Pradesh for fostering an ecosystem that supports businesses and uplifts communities.” He added that the investment aligns with the company’s aim of improving food processing capabilities and empowering growers.

Group President Rakesh Swami noted that Andhra Pradesh continues to be integral to the group’s growth, citing the state’s efficiency and supportive environment for investors.

Godrej Agrovet Share Price Performance 

As of November 14, 2025, at 11:27 AM, Godrej Agrovet share price is trading at ₹570.05 per share, reflecting a decline of 2.50% from the previous closing price. Over the past month, the stock has declined by 13.16%.
