
The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) has invited applications for the post of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of UCO Bank, as per news reports.
The bureau has opened the online application process and said interested candidates can apply until 5:00 pm on July 7, 2026.
The recruitment process has begun to identify the next head of the public sector bank.
According to the notification, details relating to age, educational qualifications, experience, and service conditions are available on the FSIB website.
Candidates can submit their applications through the 'Vacancies & Recommendations' section or by using the application link provided by the bureau.
FSIB has also said that any correction or update related to the recruitment process will be published only on its official website.
FSIB is an autonomous body set up by the Government of India to recommend appointments for senior positions in public sector banks and financial institutions.
After completing the selection process, the bureau will make its recommendation to the government, which will take the final decision on the appointment.
The MD & CEO is responsible for the management and overall functioning of UCO Bank, including its business operations and strategic direction.
Headquartered in Kolkata, UCO Bank is one of India's public sector lenders with operations across retail, corporate and digital banking.
The bank has a nationwide presence through its branch network and banking channels.

The application window for the post of UCO Bank MD & CEO will remain open until July 7. Eligible candidates can apply online through the FSIB portal, while further notifications relating to the process will be issued through the bureau's website.
