From Swiggy to Bajaj Holdings: Check New Entrants to Start Trading in F&O Effective December 31

Among other derivative-related changes effective today, December 31, 2025, the Nifty lot size has been revised to 65 from 75, while the Bank Nifty lot size has been reduced to 30 from 35, altering position sizing for index traders.

New Entrants to F&O Segment

Shares of Swiggy Ltd., Premier Energies Ltd., Waaree Energies Ltd., and Bajaj Holdings Ltd. will be in focus on Wednesday, December 31, as they begin trading in the Futures & Options (F&O) segment. F&O contracts for these stocks, starting with the January series, will be available from today’s trading session.

Exit from F&O

These four new entrants replace HFCL, NCC, Titagarh Rail, and Cyient, which have been excluded from the F&O segment. From today, these stocks will trade only in the cash market.

Swiggy and Premier Energies Among 2025 Laggards

Swiggy and Premier Energies feature among the weakest performers on the Nifty Midcap index in 2025. Swiggy shares are down nearly 35% from their post-listing high of ₹617, while Premier Energies has declined by a similar margin this year and is down close to 40% from its post-listing peak.

Waaree Energies and Bajaj Holdings Performance

Shares of Waaree Energies have corrected about 23% from their post-listing high of ₹3,865. Bajaj Holdings, the fourth addition to the F&O universe, has slipped around 7% so far in 2025 and is down over 25% from its recent 52-week high, which was above ₹14,500.
