CE Info Systems Ltd informed on October 31, 2025, that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mappls MapmyIndia. The agreement focuses on linking Delhi Metro data with the Mappls app to make metro-related information digitally available for public use across the Delhi-NCR region.

Access to Metro Information

Once the integration is complete, the Mappls app will display details such as metro routes, nearby stations, fares, train frequencies, and travel times. Over 35 million users of the Mappls app will be able to access this data in real time. The feature is to make metro travel information more accessible through a single application.

Mappls App Utility

Besides metro data, the Mappls app will also allow users to report local issues such as congestion, accidents, parking problems, or waterlogging. These inputs will be sent to the relevant departments for necessary action. The app will also continue to display routes, nearby government facilities, and location-based information already available on the platform.

Details on Implementation

DMRC Managing Director Dr Vikas Kumar said that the integration is part of ongoing measures to improve travel planning. According to MapmyIndia’s Co-founder and Managing Director, Rakesh Verma, the DMRC data will be added to the app’s multi-modal transport feature to include information across different public transport systems in Delhi-NCR.
