Cyient Semiconductors has announced a strategic tie-up with Anora, a Texas-based semiconductor test and validation firm, to create an end-to-end solution platform for global chip development. The collaboration will deliver integrated expertise across architecture, design, silicon bring-up, qualification, and testing, enabling customers to cut inefficiencies and accelerate product launches.
As part of the partnership, a state-of-the-art semiconductor validation and production test floor is being established in Bangalore. The facility will include clean room capabilities, probers, production handlers, automated test equipment platforms, thermal solutions, and tools for device and package qualification.
This centre will work alongside Anora’s existing facility in Allen, Texas, creating a powerful infrastructure to take silicon seamlessly from validation to high-volume manufacturing. Both companies highlighted that the single-roof model will reduce risks and delays compared to working with multiple vendors.
As per the exchange filings, Hari Chandran, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Anora, said: “This partnership is about creating a complete solution for the semiconductor industry. By integrating Cyient's design and silicon capabilities with our strengths in post-silicon validation and test, we can empower customers to move faster, reduce risk, and achieve production readiness with confidence.”
Meanwhile, Suman Narayan, CEO of Cyient Semiconductors, added: “Semiconductor companies are looking for fewer hand-offs and more integrated partners. Our collaboration with Anora addresses exactly that need, offering customers a one-stop hub from concept to final silicon. By investing in world-class validation and test infrastructure in Bangalore, we are positioning India as a critical player in the global semiconductor ecosystem while supporting the vision of the India Semiconductor Mission.”
Cyient Semiconductors, headquartered in Hyderabad with design centres in India, Belgium, and the U.S., is known for its expertise in analogue mixed-signal, intelligent power, and advanced ASIC/ASSP solutions. It caters to industries such as automotive, robotics, industrial automation, and data centres.
Anora, founded in 2008 and based in Texas, has completed over 2,800 projects for more than 50 global customers. It specialises in test, validation, and production support, helping clients transition smoothly from design to large-scale manufacturing.
