Closing Bell: Sensex and Nifty 50 Closed in Green, Pharma and Healthcare Stock Shines

On November 29, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 closed higher. The BSE Sensex closed at 79,802.79, up by 759.05 points or 0.96%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,131.10, up by 216.95 points or 0.91%.
Sectoral Performance
Nifty Pharma and Nifty Healthcare Index were the most gaining sectors with a rise of 2.35% and 2.04%, respectively. On the flip side, Nifty Realty and Nifty PSU Bank slipped 0.51% and 0.48%, respectively.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Thursday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma, Cipla, M&M and Tata Consumer. In contrast, Power Grid, Shriram Finance, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Life and Nestle India were the top losers.
