Closing Bell: Sensex and Nifty 50 Slipped Heavily Due to Global Cues

On November 28, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 dropped ~1.50%. The BSE Sensex closed at 79,043.74, down by 1,190.34 points or 1.48%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 23,914.15, down by 360.75 points or 1.49%.
Sectoral Performance
Nifty Media and Nifty PSU Bank were the most gaining sectors with a rise of 0.93% and 0.32%, respectively. On the flip side, Nifty IT and Nifty Auto slipped 2.39% and 1.63%, respectively.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Thursday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Enterprises, SBI, Shriram Finance and Cipla. In contrast, SBI Life, HDFC Life, M&M, Infosys, and Adani Ports, were the top losers.
Oil Prices
As of November 28, 2024, at 04:00 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $73.31, up by 0.66%.
