Closing Bell: Sensex, and Nifty Closed in Red; Adani Enterprises Led the Losers on November 21

On November 21, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended the day in red. The BSE Sensex closed at 77,155.79, down by 422.59 points or 0.54%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 23,349.90, down by 168.60 points or 0.72%.
Sectoral Performance
Nifty Realty and Nifty IT ended in green. On the other hand, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Media fell the most with a drop of 2.70% and 2.40%, respectively.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Monday, the top gainers on the Nifty include Power Grid, Ultratech Cement and Hindalco. In contrast, the losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports and SBI Life.
Oil Prices
As of November 21, 2024, at 03:51 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $73.91, up by 1.51%.
