Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty Closed in Green; M&M Leads Gainers on November 19

On November 19, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 ended the day in green. The BSE Sensex closed at 77,578.38, up by 239.37 points or 0.31%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 23,518.50, up by 64.70 points or 0.28%.

Sectoral Performance

On Tuesday, Nifty Metal, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Oil & Gas ended in red. Nifty Media, Nifty Realty and Nifty Auto ended in the green. Nifty Media and Nifty Auto rose by more than 1%. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On Tuesday, the top gainers on the Nifty include Mahindra & Mahindra, Tech Mahindra and HDFC Bank. In contrast, the losers were SBI Life Insurance Company, Hindalco Industries and Reliance Industries.

Oil Prices

As of November 19, 2024, at 03:32 PM, Brent Crude was trading at $73.06, down by 0.33%.
