Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty Closed in Green; IT Stocks Shine

On December 5, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 ended the day in green. The BSE Sensex ended at 81,765.86, up by 809.53 points or 1%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,708.40, up by 240.95 points or 0.98%.

On Thursday, Nifty IT and Nifty Oil & Gas ended in the green with a rise of 1.95% and 0.74%, respectively. While Nifty Realty and Nifty PSU Bank dropped 0.25% and 0.12%, respectively.

On December 05, 2024, the top gainers on the Nifty include Trent, Infosys, TCS, Titan, and Dr Reddy. In contrast, the losers were SBI Life, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Bajaj Auto, NTPC and Grasim.
