Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty Closed in Green; Adani Ports Leads Gainers on December 3

On December 3, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 ended the day in green. The BSE Sensex closed at 80,845.75, up by 597.67 points or 0.74%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,457.15, up by 181.10 points or 0.75%.

On Tuesday, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Pharma ended in the red. Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Media and Nifty Metal ended in the green. Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Metal rose by more than 2.5%.

On Tuesday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, NTPC and Adani Enterprises. In contrast, the losers were Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp and ITC.
