Closing Bell: Nifty & Sensex Ended in Red; Adani Enterprises Leads Gainers on December 12

On December 12, 2024, the BSE Sensex ended in red closing at 81,289.96, down by 0.29% and NSE Nifty50 closed at 24,548.70, dropping by 93.10 points or 0.38%.

On Thursday, Nifty Media, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Oil & Gas ended in the red. Nifty IT and Nifty Metal ended in the green. Nifty Media and Nifty FMCG dropped by over 1%.

On Thursday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Adani Enterprises, Bharti Airtel and IndusInd Bank. In contrast, the losers were NTPC, Hindustan Unilever and Coal India.
