CarDekho Poised for 50% Growth in FY 2025, IPO Plans in the Pipeline

CarDekho, one of India’s leading online car search platforms, is on track to achieve impressive growth in FY 2025.
According to its founder, Amit Jain, the company expects to grow by 50% as a group in FY 2025, following a robust 54% increase in profits in FY 2024. Jain emphasised the importance of compounding growth, noting that once a strong foundation is established, building upon it becomes easier. He expressed excitement about the company’s continued success and anticipates another stellar year.
Reflecting on CarDekho’s early days in Jaipur, Jain recalled the major challenge of sourcing talent, especially in a city with limited IT infrastructure. At that time, there were few IT companies, so the team had to work hard to overcome this hurdle.
However, as the company grew, the talent shortage has become less of an issue. Jain noted that many engineers from top institutes like IITs and local colleges have returned to contribute to the growing ecosystem, alleviating the talent problem that once hindered the company’s progress.
Plans for the ₹4,000 Crore IPO
While CarDekho’s anticipated ₹4,000 crore IPO is highly anticipated, Jain was cautious in discussing it, confirming that plans were underway but refraining from sharing specific details at this stage.
