Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL), a subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited, has secured a significant ₹250 crore order from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the supply of advanced underwater systems. 

The agreement highlights KSSL’s expanding footprint in the defence sector, particularly in marine and underwater technologies crucial to India’s naval modernisation efforts.

Strengthening India’s Underwater Defence Capabilities

Under the newly signed contract, KSSL will design, manufacture, and deliver next-generation underwater systems to support the Indian Navy’s operational needs.

The company has developed strong expertise in autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and related marine technologies, several of which are already in service.
