Berger Paints Ltd has set Aug 5, 2025, as the record date for its final dividend. On May 14, 2025, Berger Paints board declared a final dividend of ₹3.80 per share. 

Berger Paints Ltd said in an exchange filing, “Recommendation for payment of dividend of Rs 3.80 (380%) per equity share of the face value of Re 1/- each fully paid-up for the financial year 2024-25 subject to approval of the shareholders at the 101 st Annual General Meeting. Further, in accordance with Regulation 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Record Date for determining the entitlements of the shareholders for payment of aforesaid dividend shall be Tuesday 5th August 2025.

What Does Berger Paints Dividend Record Date Mean for Shareholders?

As Berger Paints has set Aug 5 as the record date for its final dividend, meaning that Aug 4 marks the last day to buy Berger Paints shares to become eligible for the final dividend. Further, any shares bought on or after Aug 5 (record date) won't be eligible for the Final dividend due to the T+1 settlement rule.

Berger Paints Q4FY25 Segment Performance

Berger Paints’ decorative segment recorded strong single-digit volume growth, with a steady improvement in value. This performance was underpinned by a better product mix and a modest benefit from price increases. Construction chemicals and waterproofing solutions continued to outperform, showing robust momentum across major markets.

Protective coatings maintained a positive trajectory throughout the quarter, driven by consistent demand. Automotive coatings saw stable growth, supported by favorable market conditions and ongoing tailwinds in the auto industry. Meanwhile, general industrial and powder coatings experienced relatively muted growth, reflecting a more subdued demand environment in those categories.
