Bank Nifty Trades Flat on July 28; ICICI, HDFC Gain While Kotak Bank Dips

On July 28, 2025, Nifty Bank dropped by 13.25 points, declining 0.02% touching 56,515.65 at 10:33 AM.

The index opened at 56,215.10, dropping its previous close of 56,528.90. It touched an intraday low of 56,186.85 and a high of 56,578.40, so far.
Major Stocks Driving the Rally in Bank Nifty
- Canara Bank rose to ₹112.58, adding 1.82 points.
- ICICI Bank rose 0.88% and was trading at ₹1,490.10.
- HDFC Bank rose 0.69% touching at ₹2,018.50.
- Bank of Baroda rose to ₹245.03, adding 1.58 points.
- Punjab National Bank rose 0.62% and trading at ₹109.08.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were trading in red, down by 0.11%, 0.45% and 6.37%, respectively.

Conclusion
Despite the slight dip in Bank Nifty, gains in major stocks like Canara Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank provided some support. Losses in Kotak Mahindra Bank and others, however, kept the index under pressure.
