
Public and private sector banks, including State Bank of India (SBI) and HDFC Bank, will remain closed for 4 days during the week from July 14 to July 19, 2026, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar.
The RBI has notified 12 bank holidays in July 2026, including national, regional and religious holidays, as well as the second Saturday, fourth Saturday and Sundays.
While some holidays apply only to specific states, customers are advised to check the holiday schedule before visiting their bank branch.

Although bank branches will remain closed on the notified holidays, customers can continue to access most banking services online.
Services such as UPI payments, internet banking, mobile banking, ATM withdrawals, debit and credit card transactions, and online fund transfers will continue to be available.
However, some services may experience temporary interruptions if banks carry out scheduled system maintenance. Banks generally notify customers in advance about such maintenance activities.
